Every user on the Lessa wiki, is expected to treat each another with courtesy and respect. In the event of an edit conflict with another user, arrange to have a discussion with the user in order to work out the differences. Everyone is expected to be civil and polite, even if there are disagreements. Here are a few basic guidelines:
- Don't make personal insults.
- Don't take offence, when things don't go your way.
- Don't ignore our policies and/or ignore/delete an administrator's warning.
- Don't replace British spellings with American spellings and vice versa. Both forms of spelling are acceptable.
- Please remain diplomatic and cordial at all times.
- Please be sure to choose your words carefully, so you don't unintentionally cause offence or hurt others.
- Please contact an administrator to settle a dispute, if you and the other person(s) are unable to do so.
- Remember that causing/inciting and participating in edit wars is unacceptable. All parties that participate in edit warring will be banned for 24 hours.
This site does not tolerate the usage of offensive, abusive, and/or inappropriate language, in the articles, discussions, message walls, or anywhere else on the wiki. The act of harassing other users is unacceptable and will result in an immediate one year ban. Finally, removing referenced and proven content from the articles is deemed an act of vandalism and will result in either a warning or an immediate block, depending on the magnitude of the destruction.
Multiple Accounts[]
Using multiple accounts to edit on this site is not tolerated, especially if the 2nd account is used to evade a block. If you have more than one account, please let an admin know which accounts are yours, and which account you wish to use to contribute on this site. The other accounts will then be blocked. You are required to submit evidence that the accounts are yours, by logging into the alt accounts and leaving a message. This is to avoid false accusations from trolls and/or vandals. Failure to disclose alt accounts will result in all accounts being blocked immediately and without warning.
